acrylics on deep set wood frame

52” x 32” x 2”

On August 11, 1956, Jackson Pollock, one of the most iconic American artists of our time, died in a single car crash in this Oldsmobile convertible while driving under the influence of alcohol - less than one mile from his home. It wasn’t his first DUI; but it was his last. Painted in Pollock-esque style, this original acrylic painting is a mix of both color and dark, both abstract and realism.
