acrylics on deep set wood frame

52” x 26” x 2”

The Mercedes 300SL’s center lifting doors led the coupe to be nicknamed “gullwing” because the car resembles a bird’s wings raised with the doors were up. Most came in standard silver but Blau Grau (or Blue Grey) was the second most popular color. Painted here in Blue Grey, this original painting measures 52” x 30” x 2” and comes with a protective varnish.
